Due to the huge rise in prices for container sea freight from China to Europe and the lack of container equipment, we recently tried an alternative by loading 700 tons of cargo in Big Bags as a part cargo in bulk.
It was a trial batch sent from the Port of Xingang to Hamburg. Thus, we solved another problem – the lack of space on a container vessel.
It’s worth noting that in this way, savings of 2,5 times were achieved in comparison with the current prices level for container ocean freight.
Now we plan to combine 3500 tons of cargo and ship it to Europe.
